Mom’s Deliciously Healthy T-Bone Pork Meal

Once upon a time, there is me.  For all my life, I haven’t had anybody make this meal, as great as my mom. When I was a small little kid, I was a very, very, very, very, very, picky eater. I didn’t like anything and because of that, I always ate super, super, super, super, super slow, 2 – 6 hours every single meal. But whenever we have this one…man…was I eating like a race car. Gobbling down the juiciness of the pork, mixed with rice and other vegetables……mmmmm, I can taste it right now, so good. The smell it makes when you cook it too…wow…amazing.

This meal has been a family favorite, and we eat it fairly often. It’s a classic easy meal that we all love and eat, and that special meal doesn’t exactly have a specific name, but I call it……Mom’s Deliciously Healthy T-Bone Pork Meal <3 <–see that heart there? Yeah, weird, but it’s because we(I) simply love it. Quick to make, no msg, taste good and it’s a balanced healthy meal! You eat it with rice (grain), pork (protein), lettuce/tomato/cucumber (vegetables), very little grease (oil), and for dessert, you can eat something like a fresh banana (fruit) with yogurt (dairy), and hey! There you have it, a healthy dinner! WHOO HOO!

Recipe: (4 servings)

NOTE: Never leave the pan to cook the pork without moving it around, for it could burn.Ingredients

Ingredients:

6 tablespoon Fish Sauce

3 tablespoon Sugar

1/2 of a whole garlic, chopped into tiny little pieces

5 tablespoon oil

Served with:

Rice

Sliced Tomato

Sliced Cucumber

Lettuce

(op.) Lettuce dressing

Steps:

1.  8 sliced t-bone pork into the size of your hand, with the height of 1 cm.

2. put the 8 pieces and fish sauce into a bowl, mix well, leave it for 15 minutes. then add sugar and garlic into the bowl, mix well, leave for 5 more  minutes.

3. Heat a pan with oil, at medium heat.

4. Place all 8 pieces of pork in to the pan at once.

5. Continuously move all the t-bone pork around in the pan, until that side turns brown.

*******CAUTION/TIP/REMINDER: Leaving your pan to cook the pork without moving it around, could possibly lead the t-bone pork to burn.********

6. Flip all the t-bone pork on to the other side, and repeat step 5.

7. Now you can serve it however you’d like to serve it with. In my family we like to serve it with rice, to ease down the saltiness. Then eat it, also with lettuce, tomato and cucumber, because they’re fresh, and that goes well with the hot t-bone pork.

8. Lastly, clean up your kitchen gear, and enjoy your deliciously healthy t-bone pork!
